Increasingly more people are becoming aware of the advantages of web applications. Here is a tip on how to shift from one computer to another and continue just where you left off.
Google provides a plug-in to Firefox, the Google Browser Sync. By using this plug-in you are able to save your Firefox browser settings: Bookmarks, history, cookies, saved passwords.
In other words, you can open a number of tabs, log on to different web applications, and create bookmarks for all sites used at work. When you come home, you can open Firefox and Google Browser Sync will reopen the same tabs, synchronise your bookmarks and log on to the web applications you were working on.
Obviously, you can select what is to be synchronised and additionally there is a number of security settings you should keep an eye on.
