”We’re happy to be appointed a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner again, especially now that the requirements have gotten tighter since the last certification. It's important to us to keep developing ourselves, so that we can continue to be a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner", says Christoffer Lanstorp, Head of Development at TimeLog.
Ten years ago today, Søren Lund and Jakob Mikkelsen started TimeLog as a small side project. Since then, it has developed greatly, and TimeLog is now the market leader of time registration solutions for small and mid-sized consultancy firms in Denmark.
TimeLog had a great year in 2010, and we thought others should benefit from our success.
TimeLog supported the Danish National Collection for Africa with a contribution of 15,000 DKK. The National Collection serves a cooperation of humanitarian organizations, which work towards the common goal of empowering Africa’s youth with better educational opportunities. At TimeLog, we value education and cooperation highly, and supporting this project was a natural choice for us.
Further information about the collection is available here (in Danish).
Thank you for an exciting year. In 2010 TimeLog has experienced a notable customer intake, welcomed several new employees and shipped significant product releases; including TimeLog Tracker 2.0., TimeLog Tracker for iPhone. and also TimeLog Project 5.2 and 5.3.
But we're not the only ones to enjoy a more fertile climate. In 2010 our customers have had an 8% increase in users on average. The increase is widely distributed on different industries, but the consultancy business is doing especially well.
Summer is coming to an end, and the finance crisis hangs like a thin haze in the morning air. Like most of the world’s businesses, TimeLog has also spent the last few years consolidating and strengthening the organization, our products, and our market position, so that we will be ready to jump on the growth train and grab our share of the upcoming year’s expected strong growth in web-based business solutions on a rental basis, known as SaaS solutions.
We are so convinced that we deliver a value-added, user-friendly product, that we’re offering a three-month guarantee to new customers.
You can choose TimeLog Project with confidence, because if TimeLog Project doesn’t meet your company’s needs within the first three months, we’ll give your money back.

“Companies that track time are idiots!” It was the final round of questions at the selection meeting for the government-sponsored growth potential program, GazelleGrowth, and the man behind that controversial statement was Dan Meiland, the long-time CEO of Egon Zehnder International, one of the world’s largest executive search firms.
Together with four other Danish companies, TimeLog has been chosen to participate in the growth programme GazelleGrowth which is the leading business development programme for Danish innovative growth companies that have shown a positive growth on the domestic market and wishes to realise their full international potential.
For the third consecutive year TimeLog A/S has been announced a Gazelle by Danish financial newspaper Børsen, which is something only a very exclusive crowd can boast of.

I discovered a new word today. A word I have missed and to which I predict a great future: bacn. It is pronounced like "bacon" and is a term that covers all automatic messages and notifications received from various online services from which you, for instance, get an invitation from LinkedIn, a notification from Google Calendar, account status from Groupcare or various newsletters. All the emails you receive daily that are not personal messages but cannot be characterised as spam either.
