Krak is an innovative media – and service company that connects people with the business community through lookup tools and networking. Krak has used TimeLog Project to manage time for 3 years.

"The system's first advantage is that we can register every single customer's hour consumption, but that is only the first link in the information chain. Additionally we use it in our daily dialogs, where each project manager controls his or her projects on the basis of the data obtained from TimeLog Project. TimeLog Project is used by our managers and project owners as a measuring tool as well as a management tool," says Mr. Thomas Røygaard, Project Manager at Krak.

We have become better in estimating new projects after registering our time expenditure in TimeLog Project.

Before Krak co-operated with TimeLog they lacked an overview of the distribution of time and resources, since they did not have a time tracking system.

"We wanted to be able to register time and thereby gain control of the resource usage in connection with our projects. When using TimeLog Project we are able to compile statistics, which has allowed us to reduce the length of time used on each project", Mr. Thomas Røygaard continues.

Serious Discussions based on Facts

Among other things TimeLog Project can be used to examine and discuss the resource usage internally within the company. Krak is one out of many companies that has used the system internally to redistribute resources.

TimeLog Project is more than just time registration. It is also a measuring and management tool for managers.

"Besides tracking time we use the data we obtain from the system internally. We are now able to discuss the use of IT resources on a factual basis. This has resulted in more serious discussions based on facts from the system and has allowed us to prioritize better in regards to resources", says Mr. Thomas Røygaard.

By using TimeLog Project, Krak has obtained an efficient time tracking system as well as a useful measuring tool to prioritise their resources.
