When a business uses multiple billing addresses for various departments, for example, you can easily add the address of the department's contact person in Customers and Contacts or TimeLog CRM.
When billing the customer, select the relevant department’s contact person as the addressee. Choose “use contact person’s address” as the billing address, and the billing address will supply the contact person’s department address as the address on the invoice.
By maintaining billing addresses by contact person, it will be much easier to manage billing for multiple business departments.
This is a continuation of an earlier blog post ”How to be best prepared before a business software purchase"(in Danish) and lists many of the questions you should ask yourself to find out the minimum requirements that you'll need for a new system.
A year ago, we launched our iPhone app for time registration, as an extension of our TimeLog Tracker. We’re happy to see that our users have incorporated it into their daily routine, and we’ll start working on an Android app, so that more users can register time on the go.
During the first five months of 2011, TimeLog experienced a significant increase in interest from companies looking to professionalize their time registration and project management. There were all sizes of businesses - from one-person businesses, to companies with hundreds of employees.
In connection with the release of TimeLog Project 5.4, improvements have also been made to TimeLog CRM. There are improvements both to the standard customer database, “customers and contacts”, and the TimeLog CRM module.
The next major version of TimeLog Project is on the way. This release contains a radical restructuring of the whole approach to working with projects.
News and improvements in TimeLog Project 5.4
While we’re very much looking forward to everyone enjoying and benefitting from TimeLog Project 5.4, the update will take a steady pace over the next few months.

To the user, it looks just the same as before, but it now also supports projects with phases in up to five levels, which will be one of the innovations in the upcoming version of TimeLog Project.
If you already have an iPhone 4, then TimeLog Tracker for iPhone is not exactly as it used to be. The graphics have been changed, so that it supports the super-sharp resolution of the Retina display.

At TimeLog, we value education and cooperation highly, and supporting this project was a natural choice for us.
Further information about the collection is available here (in Danish).
After the success of the autumn webinars, we have expanded the spring program to include 9 new subjects, so that we now offer 15 different webinars.
Many companies use the new year to update their hourly rates. TimeLog works with two types of rates:
The Standard Hourly Rate is used when invoicing employees’ time registrations, and is reported in the employee’s main information in the System Administration.
Employee Cost Rates indicate the cost that each employee incurs per project, for every hour registered.
