Dear reader

This is TimeLog's first newsletter solely issued in English. From now on we will be issuing one newsletter in English across all our markets. This is one of the results of the increasing growth we have experienced during 2007, which has seen a significant expansion to our international customer base.

The positive trend looks to continue in 2008. As TimeLog soon is set to pass 250 customers and more than 8,000 daily users we are facing a lot of interesting challenges in 2008 – both in our domestic and international markets.

In 2008 we will continue to focus on developing our products aimed at our primary market – the consultancy business. At the same time TimeLog will begin to increasingly focus on the role of service provider to our customers rather than merely creating new products.

This decision is based on our conviction that, for small and medium sized companies, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) is the future platform within the software provider business. This year's first newsletter will have a plethora of interesting articles covering everything from future science trends to the latest news from our product and service departments.

Kind regards,

Søren Lund
CEO, TimeLog

The opportunities presented to us in futuristic sci-fi movies are now closer than ever to being part of today's reality. Globalization, more sophisticated technological development and increasing consumer individualization have over the last few years accelerated with lightning speed.

We are part of a revolutionizing era which, based on the number of inventions per capita, is comparable to the agricultural revolution more than 10,000 years ago. A question however remains. How will some of the inventions of the 21st century take shape?

Novozymes benefits from using TimeLog Extranet

The daily use of the expansion module TimeLog Extranet has also been positively received and is primarily used by Novozymes' management to keep tabs on projects: "It has given management a tool that enables them to continuously monitor our projects, which provides them with a solid overview of the status of the department's different projects."

Furthermore, TimeLog Project's reporting tools are often used. Especially the workload reporting tool provides the project manager with the option of getting an overview of the individual project employee's current and future workload capacity. This is often used in combination with the frequently used status reports for Novozymes' management.
