Security & Access
TimeLog Project is performing security tests on an ongoing basis, and using both IP security and SSL encryption TimeLog is on the same security level as your online bank.
TimeLog ensures a high level of security by using a number of methods and tools. We collaborate with the security firm Protego A/S and also use the tool WASA for automatic testing. We have an ongoing security process that ensure optimal security for our customers.
Security in regards to hardware, routers, firewalls, and internet connections is handled by TimeLog's hosting partner, Progressive IT A/S. Progressive IT is a certified Microsoft ASP Channel Partner, and data centre tasks and hosting are their main competences.
TimeLog's solutions are processed from dedicated servers from a fully dublicated environment with dublicated RAID-SCSI hard drives, dublicated network cards etc. Progressive IT attends to security, back-up, and operating system updates etc.
Access via two Independent ISPs
The internet connection from Progressive IT's data centre is dublicated via two independent internet suppliers. This ensures 99.98 % uptime guarantee.
TimeLog has collaborated with Progressive IT for more than three years – and we have only experienced one larger breakdown that was connected to a big power failure that hit most of Denmark in 2005.
Encrypted Security & Fixed IP Addresses
TimeLog Project can be operated via a standard internet connection (HTTP) or an encrypted connection (HTTPS). In addition, TimeLog Project can be set up to accept access from computers with specific IP addresses only.
Back-up
A full back-up of all data is performed each night – in addition to an ongoing back-up on the database (transaction log). All back-ups are stored in fire resisting cubicles on another physical location than our servers.
Installed Solution
TimeLog Project is offered either as a hosting solution or it can be installed on your company's own server. If TimeLog Project is installed on the company's own server all access to the system is operated i.a. via the company's own firewall.
