Companies can choose to compensate employees’ use of their private car by adhering to the state’s charges.
These allowances are tax free, and for 2008 the following charges apply in Denmark:
- * Mileage allowance (up to 20.000 km): € 0.50/km
- * Mileage allowance ( > 20.000 km): € 0,25/km
- * Transport home-office (24-100 km): € 0,25/km
- * Transport home-office (over 100 km): € 0.13/km
In TimeLog projects’ system administrations (F10) the various mileage allowances can be entered and setup under Expenses -> Mileage Rates.
