We are often asked how to manage new and inactive employees.
When you have created a new employee, you must remember to activate the license to the right of the screen, where you choose the license type of the employee. When you have chosen a license type, the roles you have in the system appear. Here you must choose at least one role for the employee, which is crucial for the employee’s access to the system. Hereafter, you may send an activation e-mail.
If you are looking for an inactive employee, please note that the search filter on the Search employees page is collapsed as default. If you click Filter, it unfolds and you may change the Status to Inactive employees and click Show. Hereafter, you see an overview of your inactive employees.
Please note: If you reactivate an employee, you must also reactive him/her at the projects they need to work on. Otherwise, the weekly timesheet will be empty. You may do this in the resource group on the project, where you mark that you want to see inactive employees. Hereafter, you reactivate the chosen employee.
