Easy project management with project templates

Easy project management with project templates

Make quality assurance easy and streamline your company with our project templates, so you can spend your time on value creating activities.

Project templates; The ideal tool for project managers, who often run uniformised projects or work based on a specific model.

We have made it easy for you to maintain your project templates and make changes to them, when the need therefore arises. When you make changes in one of your templates, you are automatically asked if you would also like to update all or some of the projects, which you have created based on your template. In this way, you can update all existing projects with e.g. new services with just one click, and you do not have to update each project manually.

This is especially good for you, if you work hour/case oriented with your customer projects.

Getting started

You create your project templates by creating a new project and saving it as a project template.

Here, you can see how to save the template.

If you wish to edit your templates, you navigate to the System administration -> Projects -> Project templates.

Here you can edit the project templates.

Here you can select to change the name and description or the setup of the template. When you select to change the setup, the template is opened as an ordinary project, and hereafter you can change all the things you need to. When you press save, you will be asked, if you want to update all previously created projects. You will receive a notification, if there are projects where you cannot save the changes.

See your projects as LEGO bricks

You can also use project templates to import new task packages (LEGO bricks) to an existing project. If you e.g. sell extra services for an existing project, you can have a template for this service (a LEGO brick), where you have defined tasks, budgets, resources and payments. The only thing you will have to do, is to add a template (LEGO brick) to your existing project.

In this way, you can see the setup of your projects as LEGO bricks.

You add your LEGO bricks in this way:

You add your project templates by adding project template to the existing project.

Customer specific hourly rates and project templates

If you make use of project templates and customer specific hourly rates, the templates will take the customer specific hourly rates as point of departure. In this way, you make sure that you invoice at the correct rates, even though you use the templates.
