It is that time of the year!

The new year is coming, and we need to update the public holidays, so flex and vacation is calculated correctly from 1. January.

Get guidance in the system

We have made a few videos for you, which guide you in how to update your public holiday calendars. In this way you e.g. avoid questions about wrong flex calculations from your colleagues at the beginning of the new year.

If you use the 2016 version (or older) of TimeLog, you can take a look at this video.

When importing the calendar, the point of departure is in the default language and country set up in the system. Please be aware that some of your employees may use a different public holiday calendar than your default. Then you also need to update that one. As a rule, you only need one calendar per country you have employees in. It saves you for a lot of administration.

It is possible to both delete and add new public holidays. In the Working hours column, you enter the number of hours your employees need to work on the day, and the system takes care of the rest.

If you use the 2017 version of TimeLog, we have changed the procedure a bit. Here you copy the calendar and change the dates, where it is necessary.

You can see more in this video, which guides you through the steps.

You can also get help, if you click Chat & Guides in the bottom right corner and search for public holiday calendar.
